Italy's celebrations are not just confined to folklore, food and historical festivals. Their love for patron saints are shown in the solemn and joyful processions which honor them. Every town and small village has a patron saint which is honored by its people. Celebrating these special feast days brings renewed faith and hope and is
an important aspect of Italian life.
I have attempted to locate websites that profile our patron saints, and will continue to add to this list as I find more. I have also included a few websites that list patron saints and what they are best associated with (ex. Patron Saint of Firefighters is St. Florian etc.) If you find a website profiling your patron saint is not included below, please let me know and I will add it.
I hope you enjoy these pages and will return often.
